Vibrations turning off on controller

I think you might be mixing up two different issues.

This thread is regarding controller vibrations, which have been going on for quite a while, so reverting the changes wouldn't help.

If your issue with the FFB just started with the latest patch, then it's not related to the issue being discussed here, so I would create a new thread to start a bug report for your issue. 

Reverting every FFB change would probably be in favour of everyone, it was alright before and now it is just broken, keep working on improving it for 2027, but revert it for 25/26.

It’s fixed in single player? Which you can mid session save in and back out of, before starting again? But it just hasn’t been fixed in multiplayer? Great work everyone, really glad these constant posts for 3.5 months saying that the game is unplayable were listened to and acted on. If enough people still played the game this would be a trending disgrace, but luckily for EA they have decimated the player base with their clear disdain for their customers and the fans of the game

Update after update and you still haven't fixed this ridiculous bug that ruins our gameplay. I was playing in Madrid multiplayer, I lose the force feedback on lap 1 and it never comes back, my god when are you going to prioritize this issue? Honestly I've lost all hope, I don't even feel like playing anymore.

You don't fix it because you just don't want to. You fix more bugs that nobody even notices than a bug that ruins your gameplay.

The problem has happened again. I paused the game again to see if it would go away, but it happened again in the next session. Multiplayer lobby, Catalunya, again...

The less frequent issue must be with parents, like the Three Wise Men.

If you were hoping for applause for fixing it in single-player mode, you can wait for others to do it.

I'm going to uninstall the game again. You've had too many chances.

The update has done nothing in terms of the bug. I'd say it even became more frequent if anything. Have to restart the game after every 3 or 4 very short online races regardless of the type of track.

I well only be able to try after the 14th to see if the patch has resolved it,

but I can say since my previous report of no ffb, I didnt have ffb in any sessions, and it dissappeared while doing practice gp sessions which was single player. Not saying that caused it but from the last time I played it with ffb to the first time playing it without I was busy doing zandvoort solo gp session. 

Since then I havnt had any feedback in all sessions. Single player or Multi-player

Will provide feedback after the 14th on whether the patch has resolved it or not. This was just to say which sessions I atleast experienced it. It also wasnt a moment of loss in complicated situations. It was as if the strenght of the feedback was just super soft to the point of none existence. Because if doing something that general result in a strong ffb spike on normal feeling. You could feel the faintest of nudges of ffb, but strong emphasis on faint.

With the Season 8 patch, we have introduced some new code that we hope improves the situation where FFB can weaken or disappear in complex circumstances. In particular, we are interested in feedback on the single-player experience. For multiplayer, we are anticipating a reduction in instances of loss of feedback, we are still trying to establish which code paths are causing the loss of force feedback for participants and what particular network conditions, timing and player lobby makeup is triggering this on public internet.

As always, thank you for your patience and support in identifying the circumstances so that we can recreate them internally and eliminate these frustrating instances from affecting your enjoyment of the game.

I appreciate that, despite everything, you keep responding and maintain that belief based on your experience here; but look, even with all that experience, whats happening cant be defended or justified. Whether you're experienced or not, the fact is that Codies, EA or whoever is behind the game is doing a terrible job.

It's all well and good to dedicate all your resources to F1 27 betting everything on that one card but the current state of things is a disaster. Not being able to play on a Saturday afternoon or evening is unacceptable. Not a single statement, not a single apology from the company...

And let me say this, too: you've limited yourself to addressing specific points like the patch day, or telling another user that you didn't mean to imply the problem was fixed but rather that they were working on it while ignoring more important aspects (which is understandable, since there's no valid excuse), such as the fact that this has been going on for a year now (the force feedback loss issue).

I understand your point wanting to keep things calm, thinking we're losing our cool, or sensing our collective frustration but believe me, we are all fully aware of both the game's strengths and the bad things happening right now.

This is a critical issue that makes it impossible to actually PLAY THE GAME.

As another user said: all resources should be dedicated to this problem, which ought to be treated as the top priority without overlooking the other issues that exist, of course.

Those of us here aren't asking for the impossible; we're asking for the bare minimum, and that minimum is simply being able to play.

Because, as I said: I can't ask for more when they aren't even willing to set up a decent in game store or a proper season pass even if it's just to take our money.
