UPDATE - Full Troubleshooting Summary: Sprint Jockeying remains broken, executing only around 1 out of 10 times across all tests. I clean uninstalled all Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables and reinstalled the latest unified packages for x86 and x64, cleared the LocalAppData EA SPORTS FC 25 folder to force fresh configs, verified joy.cpl has no virtual controller conflicts, disabled all overlays including Steam Input, EA App, and Xbox Game Bar, and capped FPS via graphics drivers to lock input polling. On the hardware and input side, Gamepad Tester confirms L2 and R2 hit 100 percent saturation simultaneously, keyboard testing with Left Shift plus Spacebar fails identically with a 1 out of 10 success rate, and rebinding Sprint to R1 digital plus Jockey on L2 analog fails identically. In gameplay settings I disabled Analog Sprint, tested Tactical versus Advanced Defending, switched presets from Simulation or Authentic to Classic or Competitive, set Jockey to Assisted, and tried sequential pressing with L2 first then R2 and vice versa. Because this 1 out of 10 intermittent failure happens across controllers, keyboards, and digital button re-mappings, this is a PC engine input queue polling bug in Frostbite. Please investigate in an upcoming Live Tuning patch.
It doesn't work 1 out of 10 times
1 out of 10 times it performs pure sprint not a sprint jockey
9 out of 10 times it preforms slow jockey
