Hey EA_Vendcera. I'd be willing to share more information to get a quick solution on a pretty widespread issue. I myself keep getting this driver/gpu crash from 2 different GPUs from the 50 series (the 5070ti and 5090). This makes me believe it isn't a specific model but something that spans all 50 series & their drivers. The game crashes with the same error above: at either opening settings mid-match, a cut scene (celebration) being introduced changing and any display settings changes. Even an opponent pausing to disconnect will immediately crash the game, rendering winning impossible. Said crash happens in UT and single-player modes. If more tests are needed I'm willing to screen record etc.

Hello Barry,
Rolling back NVIDIA drivers to a two-month-old version is no longer a viable solution for the ongoing FC 25 crashes. Since the issue began, NVIDIA has released at least four driver updates, and reverting to outdated drivers is impractical. The crashes, which occur frequently when the UI appears during gameplay or upon match completion, are specific to FC 25 and do not affect other games. This points to an issue that EA must address.
As an RTX 5090 owner, I can confirm that FC 25 is currently unplayable on RTX 5xxx series cards. This problem alienates your most dedicated players—those who invest in high-end hardware and purchase FC packs. Please prioritize a fix to ensure the game is fully compatible with the latest NVIDIA drivers and hardware. - EA_Barry5 months ago

Thanks for your posts. I know tech issues like this can be very frustrating. Probably the easiest way to get the drivers you need is via the NVIDIA APP. This will take the guesswork out of what can be a confusing and technical process. The app will also prompt you to download and install the very newest drivers available.
Thanks again

Barry whats the current solution? seems like the old drivers are taken down...still cant play on the 5070ti

This “answer” or “solution” is absurd. The most up to date drivers continue to crash the game. I had to revert to 3 month old drivers that have other issues that affect other games I play. Just absolving all responsibility for the issue? Are you serious. Go ask your boss to look up how much I spend on this game, and ask them why one specific game is having this issue and whether it’s worth alienating ppl who help pay your salary by doing absolutely nothing. Has EA even contacted NVIDIA about it? Can you even answer that? Electronic Arts don’t care about this game’s community, and that is why the game has been terrible this year, and has cost them billions as they have admitted to investors on their quarterly calls. All the casuals left, and a lot of the diehards have as well, and the root cause is EA, and its employees apparently, just see us as a paycheck and nothing more.

This is exactly it. If they don’t care about customers who can spend $1,200 to $2,500 on just a graphics card, and spend money on packs, then what do they think about the rest of the player base?

I believe there’s been a misunderstanding. FC 25 is currently incompatible with Nvidia RTX 5000 series GPUs. The game has been crashing since March, which is why I’ve noted it’s been non-functional for two months. Rolling back to a driver from two months ago is no longer a viable solution or workaround, as that driver is outdated, lacking critical fixes and support for newer games.
This issue is severe enough to warrant an urgent thread pinned on the EA forum, clearly communicating that EA is actively working with Nvidia to resolve it. Your most valuable customers—those who invest in packs and have the means to afford high-end hardware—are unable to play the game right now. This needs urgent attention.

The game is in a poor state. It’s capped at 120Hz unless you tweak the INI file settings, which is unacceptable when even the cheapest OLED or TN gaming monitors today start at 240Hz, with competitive models reaching up to 500Hz. The game is flooded with women’s cards that many football fans, like myself, don’t care about. These cards dilute the odds of pulling the cards players actually want. Mixing men’s and women’s teams also breaks immersion for me. Instead of focusing on this, you should prioritize giving icon cards proper boots—fans have been begging for years to see Ronaldinho in his iconic Nike Tiempo Legend boots.
It feels like you don’t care about football or its fans. I play FC because I love the sport, but the game doesn’t reflect that passion.
