bug of players running in such a way that you can't control them

while i'm in an ultimate team match, my players all move forwards or sideways without me moving them. I went to buy a new controller because I thought it might be drift but it wasn't, and because of this bug I'm losing every game because every time this bug happens to me (almost every move) I concede a goal.
