“Go Back” Cancelled "Striker Rise" evolution

Potential steps to reproduce the issue - Pressed 'X' on the in-progress evolution, I was asked if I want to cancel the evolution. Pressed 'Go back' and evo dissapeared anyway. Player is showing in my club as a 83 common gold card with completed evo badge (Yellow DNA thing on the bottom right corner)

Potential steps to reproduce the issue - I pressed 'a’ on the evolution and was asked if i wanted to cancel the evolution. I pressed 'b' to go back and lost the evolution. Player is Tyrique George.

Name of Evolution: Striker's Rise

Timestamp: Tuesday, October 7, 2025 around 1:00pm

Game Area: (in-game) I started the evolution from the web app (per the requirements), then accepted the subsequent progress updates on my Xbox under 'My Evolutions". 

I could not figure out how to reproduce. I suspect it has something to do with evo's started from the companion or web app. I couldn't reproduce this issue with players I started evolutions available to start in-game. 

I posted comments in another forum post by AshST17. Here is my original post: 

This just happened to me with my evo Ben Farhat. 2.5 days into the Striker's Rise and now I can't get the additional upgrades. Literally pushed 'B' to NOT go through with cancelling my evo (if I wanted to cancel I would have manually selected the cancel option). Now it doesn't even show up on my evolutions. Strikers Rise is a 4 day evo. All that progress for nothing. The card isn't usable without the other upgrades. PLEASE FIX!!!

I was trying to replicate the issue, but I don't know where the prompt to 'cancel evolution' came from. I had multiple Evos active at the time. The only options under 'My Evolutions' are (1) 'A' to pause/activate an evo, (2) 'B' to go back, then the 'help' and 'details' options. Why would someone elect cancel an evo if the evo can't be repeated (i.e. the evo is not repeatable so you lose the evo entirely or the evo is expired)?  

Clarification: Ben Farhat is in my club with the first two striker's rise upgrades applied. He also has the evo symbol on the bottom right of the card.

The same issue and cancellation happened to me.

Potential steps to reproduce the issue -  Pressed 'X' on the in-progress evolution, was prompted with a pop-up if I wanted to cancel the evolution, pressed 'O' to back out, evolution was canceled anyways. The evolution was in it's last stage

striker rise training camp evolution

Over a week ago I put my bronze rated striker into an evo called intro to evolutions, I then put him into ‘one shot’ evo and then into striker rise training camp evo on the companion app. After two days I was on console and went to check progress when an alert appeared about cancelling the evo. I pressed ‘go back’ but the evo cancelled anyway making the whole thing pointless. 
player was Dale Taylor of Blackpool FC. I was doing a Northern Ireland RTG. Stage 2/4 complete stuck at 80 rated.
