Assistant Manager selling players is broken

I have a player who submitted a transfer request and have had so many offers to sell them which the ‘assistant manager’ deals with, but they never sell and I can’t do anything with them either, so just continue to get offers with no resolution. 
I have also renewed their contract to try and resolve but I can’t take them off the market or sell them because of this issue. 
Constantly get the ‘offer withdrawn due to no action’ email.
