Cross play between PC and PS5 not possible - ULTIMATE TEAM

Hello EA

My brother (PS5) and I (PC) are for some reason not able to play together in FC26. We used to be with no issue in FC25. 

We're on each others friendlist in the EA APP and he has his account linked to his PSN obviously. 

I can see when he joins the game, but I can also not see him in the scoreboards when clicking on comparison to "friends", the only user ID coming up when I press friends is my own tag. 

We want to be able to play rush, but when we click on each other to create a lobby, it just says that we are not configured to play cross play. However, we ARE! We pressed the lever to both have cross play active! 

Can you please help, this is a big part of me and my brothers experience of fifa in general. 

PS. I launch the game from the EA APP, he from his PS5 and we've tried multiple times.
