Game breaking bug in manager career mode

So it seems that the player contract renewal system is still buged despite the latest updates. Players, who started every game (!), suddenly request a transfer request saying they do not get enough playing time!? At the end they leave on a free as their contracts run out. I lose sometimes half a squad that way. 

This is absolut game breaking. I cannot play career mode that way. 

How can EA implement a new feature that NO ONE asked for and break the mode this way. 

Just bring back the old contract system or at least make it optional in the seetings.
