Did you recently unlink your Steam account?
Also, try using the command prompt to perform the following:
- ipconfig /flushdns
- ipconfig /release
- ipconfig /renew
- netsh winsock reset
- netsh int ip reset
Also, restore the default Hosts file with these steps.
If all of that still doesn't help. Try this:
- Fully close Steam and the EA app
- Delete the local EA license files here: C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\EA Services\License
- Reboot your PC
- Launch Steam first, then start FC 26 from there
And, you can try this as well:
- Press win+r and type services.msc
- Find the EA Background Service
- Make sure it's running and not disabled
- Restart PC if you change this setting
Make sure your Steam account is linked to the correct EA account.
