Game will not launch

Is the clock on your system not synced with the real world time? Make sure that it is.

Also, try resetting your network. Open the command prompt and run the following:

netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset
ipconfig /flushdns

Restart your PC after and try again.

My clock is synced with real world time. I am able to play all other games.

This is the first EA game I've installed and the first time experiencing this.

I have also tried resetting my network, issue is still persisting.

Did you recently unlink your Steam account?

Also, try using the command prompt to perform the following:

• ipconfig /flushdns
• ipconfig /release
• ipconfig /renew
• netsh winsock reset
• netsh int ip reset

Also, restore the default Hosts file with these steps.

If all of that still doesn't help. Try this:

1. Fully close Steam and the EA app
2. Delete the local EA license files here: C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\EA Services\License
3. Reboot your PC
4. Launch Steam first, then start FC 26 from there

And, you can try this as well:

1. Press win+r and type services.msc
2. Find the EA Background Service
3. Make sure it's running and not disabled
4. Restart PC if you change this setting

Make sure your Steam account is linked to the correct EA account.

Tried all of the above, still getting the same error.

One weird thing I noticed is that within this folder C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\EA Services\License my EA license folder stays empty even after deleting the entire folder and launching FC 26 from Steam.

You will most likely need to load into the game before this populates. Did you also try running Steam and FC 26 as an admin?
