Player position not auto selecting in SBC or team selection

Everytime I try to change a player in their position the custom filters are not working and brings up everyone on my team instead of the position I’m looking for. Before it was just the GK position and now it’s the entire team

When I want to swap players in my squad on Ultimate team it normally showed the position you selected. So swapping CB would only show all players that could play on CB but now it keeps showing any. if you want to make a team its quite a hassle to manually select it all the time.
I had this bug for a while with only the GK position but didnt bother but now its the whole team where I have this issue and this is pretty annoying.

In gauntlet game mode when u click on RW player it doesn’t go into inventory to find a RW. When selecting any position it doesn’t find it u have to mainly select it. This is ridiculous with how long this game has been out. Please fix 

Not only has this been a problem for the GK spot specifically since maybe 2 months ago, now it’s moved its way to other positions making building teams annoying asf and for gauntlet even more since you have to build so many squads to play, absolute joke it hasn’t been fixed when majority of the game nowadays is making teams for all the specific events and objectives…

Hi everyone,

I’m facing an issue in EA FC 26 Team Management and wanted to check if others are experiencing the same thing.

When changing a player in Team Management → Change Player, the game no longer auto-filters players by the selected position.

Expected behavior (older FC versions):

If I select a CB, only CBs from my club should appear automatically.

Current behavior in FC 26:

The player list defaults to Club: Any

It shows all players from the club, regardless of position

I have to manually open Filters and select the position every single time

This happens consistently and makes squad editing very slow, especially in:

Career Mode

Kick-Off / Edit Teams

I haven’t changed any settings, and this feels like either:

a UI regression, or

a bug where position filtering no longer auto-applies

Workaround:

Manually opening filters and selecting the position, but this does not persist and has to be repeated each time.

Platform: PC

Mode: Career Mode / Team Management

Is this intended behavior in FC 26, or a known bug?

Would be great if EA could restore auto position filtering like previous versions.

Have exactly the same problem since last patch. This bug existed for a few months for just gk, now it is for the entire squad. Super annoying, I gave up halfway building some gauntlet teams, too much hassle. 

Still have this problem on pc
