Settings defaulting!

Previous games were unplayable for me because custom sliders, including CPU sliders default after few games and more regularly after season 2 and 3 of manager career mode. This issue was reported by many on various forums, including this.

The gameplay (turns and passing especially) is still unrealistic ( even the authentic gameplay is unrealistic) so I customise the game to make it play slower and a less arcady yet the setting seems to default after a while.

Why is this still an issue, why are custom settings not saving permanently?

Please sort this out once and for all properly as settings not saving and forcing players to play settings they don't wan't is unacceptable.
