Team management ingame not working

So I've had this issue for a while now. I'd say this happens to me once every three games, sometimes more, sometimes less.

Whenever I'm in a rivals game (not sure if this also happens in other gamemodes) and want to bring my subs in, I click on team management. 
It's supposed to show me my team so I can make subsitutes, but I'll get send back to the pause menu, onto resume game button. 

This really annoys me as it doesn't let me make subsitution and it literally costs me wins. 

Another issue, which happens less frequent is that in some games my camera, which is normally on tele, is zoomed in what feels like 3 times, allowing me to only see a couple players on my screen. 
If I edit camera settings midgame it doesn't change anything, it stays zoomed in. Really annoying.
