FC 27 Players Request Transfers After Missing Only a Few Matches

 

Hello EA Sports team,

I am experiencing a frustrating issue in Manager Career Mode in EA SPORTS FC 27.

I use a formation with only one striker, but I have three strikers in my squad, and all three have the Crucial squad role in their contracts.

If I leave one of them on the bench for just three or four matches, the player becomes unhappy and requests a transfer. Even when I start playing the player regularly again, the transfer request does not seem to go away.

This makes it very difficult to manage my squad realistically, especially when several players expect to play almost every match.

Could you please investigate this issue and consider adjusting the playing-time and transfer-request system?

    Having this issue as well. However, if you're starting a save and know that you have 3 Strikers with Crucial contract requirements, then this is not a bug - you have promised these players (or prev manager promised these players) to play every match, and you're not holding up your end of the bargian. 

    Either change your formation to handle these players (I assume they're OK in other positions as well, or you can train them in them - e.g. move to LW/RW/LM/RM or CAM), change your formation to have 2 at the front (and have the third on the bench always subbing in most games), or sell them as they're technically surplus to your requirements. 

    I think the bug here is that the players get cranky too soon and force your hand (ask for transfer requests). I have this issue with some rotation players at the moment - they're just not getting game time because I have 4 better players in their position, and I am in my first season of this save, so I am going through the process and trimming the fat while slowly buying players that meet my play style (Ideally a 3-6-1, but I also have the 3 crucial striker problem so I am playing a 3-5-2 instead).
