MUT Randomly Disconnecting/Crashing During Online Games – Xbox Series X

I’m having a recurring issue in MUT where the game randomly disconnects or crashes during online games and gives me an automatic loss.

This has happened multiple times recently, including several games where I was winning and had possession in the second half. Sometimes the Xbox completely shuts off, and other times Madden simply crashes back to the Xbox dashboard while the console remains on.

I’ve had roughly 4–6 of these incidents recently, and they are significantly affecting my MUT record. I’ve played long sessions without problems in the past, so this seems to be a issue.

My Xbox Series X is properly ventilated, the fan is working normally, and there is no major dust buildup. I’m trying to determine whether this is a Madden/MUT issue, an Xbox issue, or something else.

Has anyone else experienced this recently? Is EA aware of any MUT crashes/disconnects on Xbox Series X, and is there anything I can do to help troubleshoot or report the issue?

These disconnects are extremely frustrating because they’re counting as losses in competitive games that I’m actively winning.

    My biggest issue and its super frustrating. The game actually plays great but I can't get through 2 quarters in h2h I have to pray they quit before my system crashes

    I am having same issue my only lost have came from this. Was winning 14-0 disconnected and I got lost and my internet is perfectly fine. I'm not even playing Mut until they address this i keep losing because of this

    Mine does it too. Got a fan for the top of my Xbox. This has stopped the issue for me.

    It's not just a MUT issue.  It's the entire game.  I have tried super start, MUT, and franchise.  Game just constantly crashes to dashboard.  Most likely not your Xbox.  This and CFB are the only games that do this.  Every other game I won works just fine.  It's an EA problem.

    Anyone have a solution? Just spent 30 minutes talking to ea help, they had no idea what to do and left me helpless.

    Still an issue. Attempted to complete a simple MUT challenge and my system shut down mid game. This needs to be resolved the game is unplayable.

    Still no solutions that I have seen.  All we can do is sit and wait and hope they fix it.

    Do you have anything plugged into your front USB port. I had my controller plugged in but after I removed It I haven't had an issue. I need more time to test it though I played for an hour with no crashing on Franchise, MUT and H2H which I would crash at least once in 30 minutes.

    They ain’t fixing this issue. This issue been going on for years.

    So this is my Madden 27 experience so far. 1st time making the playoffs, disconnect as my opponent does his opening kick-off.  1st ranked game, drive to the 1 inch yard line on first possesion, disconnect.  All after exprience the user d/c glitch from some kid spamming me messgaes. All loses drastically effecting my record and my experience and my drive to continue playing. MADDEN IS STILL UN**bleep**ING PLAYABLE AFTER 30 EDITIONS OF THE GAME!
