Game:
I was playing in Be A Pro Mode and got my first hat trick at home arena and as the hat celebration is wrapping I start to get a few sound issues and then the screen went black and crashed back the XBOX main screen completely out of the game. I went back in and tried again and repeated the hat trick and same thing. I was able to recreate it 4 times. The last time I even tried deleting the saved game and starting over and it still happens. In other words it's repeatable.
Ideas
$100 for this game. Its been 2 weeks and my favorite game mode is unplayable because I score too many goals. Unbelievable.
At first I thought it was an audio problem but everytime I score a hat trick the game crashes. I work hard for my money shouldn't you do the same? Fix or refund
Hey EA I’m really frustrated because my game keeps shutting off every time I score a hat trick and I’ve been doing everything I can to try to fix it but it don’t work can you please fix this problem
Mine keeps doing that as well. I will be having a good game and then it crashes. I keep sending the error report in hoping that will help but it’s frustrating because you have to redo the match.

Having similar issue on PS5.
However it seems to only happen in the third period. Periodically when a player gets a hat trick in the third period the game crashes.I’ve had it happen so many times I stopped playing the third period and simming at the end or the second.
This was happening to me too. I tried the *workaround* which was to disable the play by play announcer, didn't work.
I just tried switching from stereo audio to tv speakers and so far no crash in 3 hat tricks games.
I will edit my post if I get more crashes with that setting.

Exact same problem with same equipment. All brand new. Guess that's what I get for being tired of playing the same Xbox game from 8 years ago

Would you be able to get a video of this so I could get it reported to the team? Are you only crashing when there's a hat trick?
I just bought the console have not set up a screen record would have to be on my phone
