I tried to complete the Transition Skating 101 mission, in which there's an objective called "Complete the AR Program". One of the steps includes grabbing the board with L2 first, and then R2. L2 performs the board grab, but R2 doesn't do anything for me. I can't get past this mission. The button works fine for rolling without the board in the game, and also works fine for other games, so I'm pretty sure it's a bug in Skate. I play on PC, through the Epic Games app.

I had the same issue, don't know if its only my controller (works fine on every other game tho), I had to push my R2 button down real hard, like almost feeling bad for the button hard and it worked
Same here on a ps4 controller. It definitely isnt the controller, but the game itself. I tried every solution I found, big picture mode on Steam and even re-calibrating the controller inputs but nothing works. The controller inputs work on other games and even on skate you can pump up the speed with R2, but just not grab the board... annoying to be stuck on that mission because of this☹️

I got Dualshock 4 and have the same problem... EA launcher... btw my gamepad didn't work without usb cable

Both Grabs not working for me either but works for off-board tricks
Can't get through the grab tutorial either, progress locked. It's just the RT. The game recognizes the input, because I can still pump and bend knees with RT. But I can't grab or roll.
I'm using an 8bitdo ultimate wireless on pc.
