Challenge Start Audio Bug

When attempting to start a challenge I experienced an audio bug where the sound bite that plays while holding triangle to start the challenge will do the following: Make all U/I disappear, repeatedly and infinitely play the aforementioned sound bite, and prevent the player from pausing or starting other challenges. This forces me to alt+f4 every time it happens.

I believe that it is happening specifically when running up to the challenge, holding triangle, and ultimately running through the challenge start area (most likely due to momentum).
