Co-op Generally Broken

Co-op in general is broken. When inviting someone to skate with, I can't see their character, we can't complete co-op objectives the first run, due to the "All Players performed Trick in Area", etc., when I start a challenge, it doesn't start, and I can't open menus.

Why is it so much to ask for a Skate game that has an emphasis in being social, and skating with a bunch of other skaters, to be able to skate with other skaters? Especially friends?

Explain it to me, EA. I must be r•tarded.
