So what fixed it for me was restoring my computer to its original state through Windows Settings. I think the issue was a conflict between the anticheat and some other programs on my computer, though I'm not sure which one
So your resolution was to factory wipe your entire PC?
That doesn't really fix or identify the problem, that's like nuking a city to solve the homelessness crisis.

Hyperbolic much? It's a definitive fix, not a diagnostic one. Maybe it is unnecessary for you, but it solved the problem for me with minimal trouble. It's also showing that the problem is likely a conflict between a program and anticheat.No need to get your frustrations out on me.UwU

That is by definition, not a "fix". You essentially got a new PC.
For the vast majority of people, we are unable to delete thousands of programs, files, and games aquired over years in order to play a single game that was working for us a few weeks ago.
