Soft Locked in Tour 1: Skater Eyes

My friend has this problem where he can't progress in the main mission tours. It has been like this for him for at least a month now. He can't progress from Step 1 in Tour 1: Skater Eyes. Is there a way you could manually reset his story or that particular mission, since he is missing a lot of exp and other items and coins, maybe to resolve these bugs you could add an option to restart missions. 

Let me know if this soft lock bug could be resolved.
