Most are okay with the glitches existing outside of multiplayer battles or challenges. And I completely understand where you're coming from. Sometimes a glitch can be fun to play around with.
But with the introduction of more matchmaking battles. It is a large issue, and the removal of usage there should be the focus. This isn't THPS, it's not about spamming things to get points or taking advantage of a fault in the physics/points system. It's about skating with real flow in a somewhat realistic experience.
Again, outside of multiplayer I'd say it's completely fine, creative, and fun for those who enjoy it. But to call glitches essential to 'flow' is a misunderstanding of what the game stands for.

I said 'somewhat realistic,' meaning it's a blend between THPS and a more simulator focus like Session. Since 2007, it has held that mantle. Even OP mentioned how the physics still feel fluid and amazing. That is what the game is about, not glitching high scores in competitive play.
If you're playing with a party and want to use them outside of competitive play, that's fine. But competitive play cannot allow for that focus.

before and after patch u never was able to trickline and gain points without bailing the hippie to spread eagle was the only glitch points and that is not considered tricklining what so ever
