Bb8's lv 9 should give all allies the resistance tag for the rest ofvthe battle (if all allies are droids), the apply secret intelligence to all allies.
Allies do not get the resistance tag, or they lose it after the opening phase.
The best way to test this is to run a full droid team with bb8 and c3p0... resistance allies should give themselves translation with specials. But only bb8 will give himself translation, others do not.
The lv 6 also does not ally to allies which gain the resistance tag from. The lv 9.
