I’m 5.5 million gp and I was paired against someone who was well over my gp ( double my gp) in grand arena. This has been happening since last arena. I don’t even have a single galactic legend or relic 9 character and this opponent had almost all galactic legends maxed out. This is totally unfair and impossible to beat! Please fix how I am placed against people who are much more powerful than me.

GP or GLs are not a factor in how you are matched in GAC. It's a ladder system; you win you move up, you lose you move down. Essentially, we win roughly 50% of our games.
It appears you were successful last season and have moved up significantly. Either you'll find a way to swim or you'll sink back towards where you were last season.
Not a bug.
