Same issue. Started on 6/22/26 in the evening, ET. iPad A16, iOS 26.5.
When this happens, Game Center will not load. Games app will not load.
Worked with Apple Support, but no fix lasts. It appears deleting the game, shutting down / restarting the device, reinstalling the app seems to let it load fully, but it also downloads additional content, like when there’s an app update.
Apple support seemed to think it had something to do with whether or not Game Center was enabled, but that doesn’t appear to be the case.
Im not seeing this issue with other apps that utilize Game Center.
