I played a battle in grand arena and defeated starkiller. The battle continued about another 30-45 seconds and I lost. The battle ended with starkiller definitely not on the board, and it showed me the defeat screen. When it went back to the sector view screen, it showed starkiller as being alive with full health and full protection. He wasn't on the board when the battle ended, so what happened?

No there are definitely issues. I had a GL Leia vs GL Tano match in TW where Leia ulted after the time limit killing the soul remaining Tano. The animation went very slow and I was asked to submit the result (as a loss). As there were no opponents (or possibly a Tano with low health) left I submitted the result.
When I came back to the TW sector screen the whole team was back with full health and no TM. As I know similar issues have been reported before, I was very definite and careful with submitting the battle.
The issue appears to have something to do with damage done outside the time window causing the battle to reset, even when you're asked to submit the result.
One of the other opponent characters didn't have any protection after the battle. I don't think that would have happened unless I submitted the battle.
