Adventure awaits introduces cooking surfaces to the game. After the surface is added there are 3 dishes available. unfortunately the option to cook disappears with the simple living challenge from cottage living. Instead of listing the required ingredients, my sims can't prepare anything.

Having the same issue, I was looking forward to using this feature but my sims’ lot has the simple living challenge. Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long for a fix.

i didn't realize this was related to the simple living challenge! i just thought the feature didn't work at all. i use simple living on all my builds for more 'realistic' gameplay. it's been so frustrating to me that I can't use this feature on my home lots and I keep forgetting to test it on other lots.
