With the Getaway system, there is an option to mark a getaway as recurring. However, the feature does not work as intended. When a I select the recurring option, the getaway does not automatically repeat the following week. Instead, I must manually re-add the getaway each time, which defeats the purpose of the recurring option.

how did you remove your mods/cc ? Did you try a new save as well or is this an existing one ?
The first time it happened I had minimal mods (MCCC & UI cheats). Mods and CC were removed and it happened in 2 other save files after I took them out
All save files were new
Do you play rotationally in between or stay with one family ?

The bug: Checking the Recurring Weekly box doesn't do anything, the getaways do not recur.
This is pretty self explanatory. But my expectation is that I will get a notification to go to my Getaway on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday.
I also expect to see the recurrence on my calendar, since that is what the tooltip says.
I didn't make anything special. I'm just testing the bare minimum here:
Here is the calendar, as you can see, the weekly recurrence did not get scheduled and as I expected, playing through just fast forwarding, I was never asked to enter the getaway besides the first initial time. I expect them to keep happening indefinitely based on the weekdays I picked. Wednesday, Friday, Sunday like how the festivals and stuff do.
Lets try again with just 1 day a week, recurring and check the calender:

And playing through the week fast forwarding, I never got the recurrence.
When the 1 day getaway ends, it asks me to extend it. But I don't want to extend it, I just want to happen on a schedule for the set duration like how Festivals do.
I’m having the same issue and also, I set for my sim child to attend camp every weekend, Saturday and Sunday and in the calendar it keeps making it Monday and Tuesday. No matter what day I select, it goes to totally different days. It’s frustrating
