Once I added water to a moat I dug around my property, the game will no longer unpause, will not save, along with many other glitches. Duplicated the same error a second time by saving after every Terrain update, and adding water was the one that broke my game.

I’m having this issue too. When adding water to a lot I am unable to save. It not only crashes my game but I’m forced to restart my computer.
I repaired the game in the Origin app and it fixed the issue!
