In Everyone's Bestie it never registers any teen friends. I always have to cheat past this level. No mods or custom content in my game and I've had this issue I think since the pack came out.

Could you please provide the following information
- Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
- Does your Sim have the incredibly friendly perk ?

I also have this problem ! I play on the Playstation 4 and I cant use mods or anything so its just me and the game and the packs I buy ! It's super frustrating ! My sim is friend with every teen in the game and it registers NONE !
I've encountered the same problem, playing on laptop. It affects my teens but also my children in the social butterfly aspiration that friends won't register for their aspirations. It probably has happened with and without mods, as I don't always use them.
I can only complete when turning off clubs that make the friendship start at a high level. "Starting" the relationship as friends will not count as having made a new friend.
This happened to me too, and happen in many of my played teen Sims. Because they always start with half green relationship whenever they introduce their self. But I have found a solution: using social bunny!
I added Sims who my Sim has already introduced before to contact list. Then, I spammed a mean messages to decrease the relationship until they became acquaintance, after that I spammed again with friendly messages until they became friend. Yeah I know this way is tiring, but I always succed try this way.
I selected the ADMIRED ICON aspiration goal for my teen. She has befriended at least 5 teens but it doesn't register in the tally.
