My sims keep using mean interactions when talking with their partners. I don't know if anyone else is having this problem but it started after the most recent update.

he is never mean to anyone but since the update he is forever trying to be mean to his partner or friends. I even ended his relationship with someone as I thought it was just her he had a problem with but he is even more well suited to new girl and yet he keeps trying to be mean. Anyone else having theses issues?

Yes I am having the same issue. My entire household became enemies in a matter of minutes.
Yeah all my sims in my usual save are all close. They never fight. And now they are all insulting each other for no reason. originally I thought it was my one sim being mean because she does have the hot-headed trait, but no.. then I seen that everyone is yelling at each other. And it sucks because I have to play damage control and fix everyone’s relationship with cheats.
I'm having the same problem with my romantic/alluring Sim. She just keeps insulting everyone she talks to :(
Im also having this issue, My sims cant have any relationships because they just start insulting everyone and fighting. They do not have any mean traits or any reason to be fighting, and were not a few days ago before the update

also having the same issue! my sim insulted her neighbors house upon meeting her and she has been shouting forbidden words at her crush for no reason. i'm having to use cheats to save relationships but this is making me not want to play the game at all
No, literally I thought, I was the issue and was changing my personality to make it work but they are still going at it.

I've never posted here, I'm just hoping someone from EA sees this. I read the whole list about the new update, including how it should put a stop to Sims being mean to each other out of nowhere. Nope. My teen sim (not going thru a mean streak, no mean trait) just got a girlfriend. They're crazy for each other, they kiss and mess around then he goes insulting her, diminishing their friendship and relationship level right before my eyes. AND I have autonomy for selected sim turned off, but that hardly seems to work for anything anyway. I'm in multiple Sims 4 groups on Facebook and since the updates late July, I'm seeing complaints left right and center about things like what I'm saying here and other bugs, maaaany of them claiming the game to be basically "unplayable" right now. I think I'm gonna put the game down myself for a little until this gets fixed bc I'm trying to build happy relationships for my Sims and bugs or whatever AI function is sabotaging that for no reason. 😂 I am supposed the be the one in control, am I not?! Isn't that the point of simulation games in general? Please look into this!
ALSO, love the lash extensions but they're obstructing view in first person mode. Oops. Guessing they forgot to check that part.
If anyone from EA sees this and cares, I'd be more than happy to voice some of the other issues my fellow Sims group members are complaining about. Until then, won't waste my time in an echo chamber.
