I noticed this as well, it seems to happen more in a tiny home for some reason, but overall it happens in all building types. It is annoying as they are supposed to have fixed this already.

Recently my sims have been autonomously mean to each other for no reason . This ruins my gameplay because it immediately drops their relationship status and I have to cancel the save.
It seems to be a bug that needs fixing. I don’t use mods since I’m a console user so how exactly I stop this because the game is becoming unplayable - Idaliarats2 months agoSeasoned Vanguard
This is happening to me as well, everyone just keeps fighting at first it was funny till I decided my sims daughter should get married but no one wants her as she fights with every person she’s introduced to. She does not have any mean traits and the fight interaction seems to be there for every sims like it’s that holiday but it’s not. I’m on Xbox no mods and no cc

Did some investigation into this; Random spontaneous fighting is a newer issue that should probably be separated out from this bug report. The cause of that specifically is a change to the tuning `testSet_FightAvailability`. The tuning can be viewed here: https://pkg.sims4toolkit.com/#/fetch/tuning/128060
This test set is used in the `test_globals` section of the mean Fight interactions, meaning if this test set doesn't pass, the fight interaction shouldn't be available. For test sets, the entire set passes if one of the groups pass. The Adventure Awaits patch added the following test group:
<L> <V t="trait"> <U n="trait"> <L n="blacklist_traits"> <T>447353<!--Trait: trait_SpecialNPCs_Cryptid--></T> </L> </U> </V> </L>Meaning: this test group passes if the sim is not the Cryptid special NPC, which means the whole test set passes. So for every sim that isn't the Cryptid, fights are always available (both for autonomy and the pie menu).
The intention here is to blacklist fights for the Cryptid, and for other special NPCs this is done directly in the `test_globals` section of the fight interactions. The same should be done in this case.

I have had this issue since the pack was released. Customers - without the disruptive tag - just start being mean to each other. I do not have mean interactions as a business activity. They will be mean to any of my sims in the area sometimes, too (like my business owner or their family).
I can't figure out what's causing it, and am wondering if anyone else has noticed it. It doesn't seem to interfere with the growth of the business (my current sim's store is 5 star), but it is annoying to watch.

Not really fixing the underlying problem... but MCCC has an option where you can disable autonomous mean interactions for sims

Hello!
My Sim was talking to another Sim. Their friendship level was increasing and everything was going well in their conversation: no provocation, no awkwardness, etc. Neither my Sim nor the other Sim has any negative traits such as being malicious, mean, hot-headed, etc. But they started fighting for no reason and without me deciding to do so.
My Sim sometimes insults or shouts at other Sims for no reason too...
I hope you can do something about it <3
If you’ve really tried in multiple fresh saves then you’d be pretty unlucky to have gotten the Roughhousing NAP enabled in every save, but just to be sure, you’ve checked that that’s definitely not enabled? Sometimes even if it’s not enabled for your neighborhood, if visiting sims are from a neighborhood where it has been enacted it can still affect their actions.
There’s also a curse from Realm of Magic that cause NPCs to fight your sim, but that’s rarer than the NAP and would target that specific sim.

It even happens with autonomy off

I am having an issue with all of my saves where all of the Sims (NPC and my sims) keep insulting each other and starting fights. I have tried clearing out my mods and doing a clean save file and it keeps happening. None of them have mean traits and I have even tried changing their personalities. I know this has been a bug in the past, is there a solution coming soon?
