whenever i have my sim get a tattoo the clothing stays on instead of being taken off for example if i ask for a chest tattoo my sim will remain in there shirt during the tattoo process.

Edit By Crinrict: Added pack tag to title.

  • Hi Dallas16127

    • Does this happen to your active Sim only or also if NPCs get a tattoo ?
    • Did you delete the localthumbcache file and repair your game after removing mods/cc ?

from what i have seen its hit or miss the first time i loaded in it was everyone but when i left and came back it was just my sims that the clothes stayed on and yes i deleted the localthumbcache file and repaired my game after removing mods/cc and still had ths issue.

could you test if the same happens in a new save with new Sims without mods/cc.

This is just to test if it's related to your save game or a general issue. You don't have to delete your current save.

Does it matter what kind of outfit the Sim had on ? Like if he was in cold/warm weather outfit it doesn't work but everyday does ?

I have this problem too. Deleting localsimtexturecache fixes it. Not permanently though. It keeps happening and I have to keep deleting localsimtexturecache.

Update: Found an easier fix. Just enter CAS with the problem sim and press the ok checkmark to go back to the household. Don't need to actually edit the sim. It's annoying that it keeps happening but pretty quick and easy to fix this way.
