I'm having the same problem, the employees disappear.
I deleted all files from: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\
I created a new game from scratch without any MODs, and the problem persists. The employees disappear.
NOTE: This proves it's not a MOD issue or anything like that. The problem is with the base game and the Business and Leisure Expansion Pack, which are having the problem.
I don't know if this problem existed before the May 27, 2025 update, since I bought the pack on May 28th. Bad luck for me 😡 This problem is useless to me.
For me the problem started after the may 27 update. 😭😭
