Peach Yogurt here keeps using Skillful Sleep. He's got a lot of maxed skills, though, and instead of working on skills he hasn't mastered, he keeps cross stitching or playing the piano or doing other skills he already HAS mastered.
As you can see in this screenshot, he hasn't mastered mixology and the bar is right there for practicing! Yet he plays the piano instead! Is this a bug, or is this just a con of this perk?
I've wondered about this too, I also have a sim whose skillful sleep ghost keeps working out even though he already has fitness at level 10.
This happened to me too. What's worse is, other household members have a relationship with the Sim's astral projection. Resulting show the ghost version of the Sim in relationship panel.
After knew this issue, I just removed that mastery perk. It's useless, tho. Better I take my Sim to build the skill with never weary trait.
It really bothers me, and i also don't understand if this is a bug or just poor game design
