I lost hours of playing due to my game not saving because of Error 13. I looked it up and it said it was likely CC/mod related -- but I do not have any of those downloaded.

do you mean you have no mods/cc at all or just not the ones that were mentioned in connection with this error ?

If you have none, do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?

- Delete the ones you have
- Trigger the error again
- Check if new ones are created
- If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.

Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting.
