Hi there,
Loveeee the new burglar update! but I do have a question.
The burglar tried to steal my Backyard observatory (the big telescope), and while he did swipe it i got it back from the police when he got caught. but when I got it back, I noticed it did not have the upgrades I had previously had my sims install on it.
Is this part of the feature and they are supposed to lose their upgrades? or is it a bug? (I am on Mac if it matters)

Does sounds like a bug. Like yo were returned a different object.
for completions sake could you please add tags for mod usage (if you use any or not)

Items that are prone to being stolen; fountain of Glutimeus Maximus (not something I can keep inside!), dew collectors, classic wind turbine - ground, classic solar panel - ground, classic water heater, classic splash-pad whalebert... you get the point. Some objects should be non-removable; like a fountain?
Upgraded dew collectors that were returned to the inventory were [standard] rather than upgraded.
Just had this happen with my Steampunk Flyamajig. All upgrades were wiped and it needed to be rebuilt from scratch
