Businesses and Hobbies business not making money

I'm opening my business. Sims are showing up and using the services but the report at the end of the day is only coming up with -75 (business opening fee). I tried reloading the game but this did not fix the issue

    If you use mods/cc,try moving the whole mods folder to another place, delete the localthumbcache.package and then test to see if the issue remains without mods/cc there.
    Repairing the game may also help.
    Also try playing for a few business days and see if the same thing occurs each day.
