Buy/Build: Can only manipulate one item

I'm having this same issue! It happened to me out of nowhere.

The game last updated 07/29 and I always get the updates right away. I've been playing and build since then, so it's weird that it's happening now.

I disabled all of mods and CC & the same thing happens. I place one object but can't place the other unless I select a tool. If I try to move an already existing piece of furniture, it won't place unless it's in the same exact spot.

I also repaired my game and deleted the local thumb cache and repeated what I did and same thing.

When I load into the household I can move things around normally, but when I go to manage worlds to place a couple of lots from the gallery and go back, that is when it seems to happen.

I don't know if it's tied to placing down lots from the gallery or not

This is happening to me too! So frustrating. I have found it is more common in manage worlds than in build mode via live mode. Super frustrating

I want to add, I personally notice this issue when I place lots down from the gallery that are not mine.

I don't know if that's the case for everyone. I did test and when I placed a lot from the gallery, tested to see if the bug happened (it did) and save ands then exit to reload, it stopped. Not entirely, it still comes back if you place multiple lots down.

I placed 3 of my own, I can place things like normal. Saving a build to your library from someone else doesn't fix the issue.

Same problem.

Twice now i've had to force quit my game. Im building on a business lot and trying to add a strip of fountains down the side of a walkway and it wont place any fountain or pool, it will make the sound like it has but then nothing happens. Then i cant add/build/place anything and if i try save and exit it just loads for so long i end up having to force quit the game. 

I tested a new save file and it seems to be on only this one save file. I tested without mods and the problem persists. When I go into build/buy, I can place the first object (multiple if it's something like a counter) but once I deselect that object and try the next, it constantly deselects the object before I can place it. It's a battle of spam clicking just to place one object. I just started the save file and was changing the apartment I put them in to accommodate the fact they have an infant.
