Ever since half walls were introduced, this bug has been there. It was fixed maybe once a few years ago and it came back in the next update.
Why does everytime I use eyedropper tool (e shortcut) on half wall trims it doesn't work.
In video bellow you can see me trying. I don't have any filters on, no mods, no nothing.
I also confirmed this issue with no Mods/CC.
I'm on PC, EA app.
Hi, this issue was listed up in July 1, 2025 update. Now it works fine.

Just in case, I checked this issue.
The half-wall trims that chose with eyedropper tool was able to use to other half-wall, but the result of half-wall trims didn't show up. This issue is about displaying result.
I'm sorry I mistakenly thought that the eyedropper tool's behavior had been completely fixed because it can actually use.
I often can’t get the eyedropper tool to work on wall trims, but only sometimes. Just now when I tried to copy a wall trim on the third floor of my building the game said “nothing here can be cloned”, but when I tried on a half wall on the second floor it worked fine, and now it’s working on the third floor again.
