CAS Not opening since new update

Looks like I am not the only one having issues with the latest update. I installed the July 2024 game update and since then I can't open CAS. I just get stuck on the loading screen and then have to use task manager to close the game. The audio also appears to be glitching when I am stuck on the loading screen, and its playing multiple songs over each other. I use mods and CC and tried removing them, but still was unable to use CAS. Deleted all the cache files. Repaired my game on the EA app. Still can't use CAS. Also my simology panel is broken, the icons say that my young adult sim is aging from an elder to a child (I suppose that could make for an interesting Benjamin Button type story arc perhaps?) Hoping they fix all these issues, I was looking forward to the new expansion pack but will wait until these issues are fixed before purchasing.
