When i click adopt the sim just picks uo the dog and puts it down, ive tried on different worlds, loaded games, and new games, different houses etc. so it dosent seem to be a mods issue, this started...

Since 12th May I’ve been unable to adopt a pet.
I click on the pet and click to adopt. Sim picks up animal and then just puts it down
Also noticed with the dog I added to the family I am unable to reprimand them for behaviours like playing in the trash and licking puddles. The option just dosent appear
On pc - no mods or cc
This is also happening to me, I can't adopt them thru my household or by finding a stray, I click adopt and my sim will either just hold them for hours and it won't complete or they will pick up the animal and immediately set them down and the action won't complete, playing on xbox and this was working before May 12th
I am having the same issue after the update playing on PC with no mods. When I finally gave up and added the cat to the household using cntrl+right click to add to family, the up for adoption message above their name never went away, and sim doesn't have the option to show off the pet. Not sure if I have the option to reprimand as the cat has not misbehaved yet.
