When i click adopt the sim just picks uo the dog and puts it down, ive tried on different worlds, loaded games, and new games, different houses etc. so it dosent seem to be a mods issue, this started...
Ideas
As an adoption employee, when your Sim comes home holding the pet, the Sim keeps standing there with the pet in their arms and you can’t complete the adoption. The adoption does not finish, and the animal gets put back down again.
I dont plat with mods, and restarted alot
So I did this, I used the cheat resetsim FirstName LastName because my sim was stuck holding the pet and wouldn't put her down. Then I used shift-click the pet when it leaves the crate, then selected Add to Family. and it worked! But the crater is still outside in the hall, so I don't know if it will go away.
