When i click adopt the sim just picks uo the dog and puts it down, ive tried on different worlds, loaded games, and new games, different houses etc. so it dosent seem to be a mods issue, this started...

As an adoption employee, when your Sim comes home holding the pet, the Sim keeps standing there with the pet in their arms and you can’t complete the adoption. The adoption does not finish, and the animal gets put back down again.
I dont plat with mods, and restarted alot
to add onto this, if it involves picking up a pet, it will not work. my sim picked up their small dog to give it a bath and it would not do anything. they would just stand there for awhile before putting the dog back down.

i have same issue with the constant standing/ freeze state when interacting with pets
