So, Sims also have to have a Death Type assigned. However, there are at least two exceptions. Guidry and Temperance. Now, lore wise Guidry was crushed by a Murphy Bed and Temperance died by Anger. However, as they come in the Paranormal Pack and the Murphy Bed death type requires the Tiny Living expansion, Guidry at least is just dead. He has a special trait that is "Dead" that makes him a ghost. Pretty sure that Temperance does too, despite Death by Anger being base game.
Now, if you try to apply this basic "Dead" trait to Captain Whitaker, well it doesn't work. Apparently it's only flagged as valid for human-based Sims.
So, why? Why can't they use this hidden "Dead" trait on pets like Captain Whitaker too?
