I made my sim buy a retail store. But every time I try to add funds into it it won't go through. I thought it was because she was in an apartment so I moved her into a house and it did not help the problem.
I merged your post with the main thread although you said you're also have issues as non-renter.
To be sure, you moved into a residential lot and not a residential rental ?
I am having the same issue and my sims are in a regular residential lot, not a rental residential lot
