I play vanilla on PC and haven't ever used mods or cc. I took a look at this today because right after the patch I had switched to the save where I am playing in Chestnut Ridge.
I can't replicate this issue. Flapjack's image is present when I hover over the house, and the horse is on the lot when I visit it. All I can think to suggest is to test in a new user folder to see if the issue persists.
Edited to Clarify that my results were obtained playing in an existing pre-patch save, not a new save like so many are reporting in this thread. I haven't started a fresh save since patching, nor have I run a game repair since August 10th.
