In create a sim, the boy children default to the female child underwear when they do not have any pants. It is supposed to be the boxer underwear instead.
Not to say male children cannot wear the other one, however the female child underwear is not actually an asset you can select for the boys, and is an issue with what asset it is giving them when none are selected.
