I've NEVER been able to sing a duet with a date, household member, or SO. EVER. Household members, both with singing level 10 and all they get is an option to sing a duet with some random jerkwad.
The strange thing about it is that the problem comes and goes for no apparent reason. Since my sims karaoke quite a lot, I probably notice the problem more than people whose sims only do it on occasion. It is beyond exasperating when I think it is working and plan something only to find out it is not working again. Truthfully I feel many game issues/bugs are related in some way, by some game mechanic, because they come and go when nothing has changed in my game.
