I also have this issue, and I can only get my sims to actually use the karaoke to duet immediately upon arrival on the lot (I have MCCC and I enabled the "Pause on Zone" setting, so that helps), but when they actually start using the karaoke machine I immediately get a last exception notification. At least I could get it to somewhat work I guess 🥴
