crinrictI wonder if it is still recommended then to not play in San Myshuno / Enamorada Penthouses / residential rentals to avoid bloating the save file with now invisible items and risk issues with the save? Or are the testing results inconclusive yet, if the objects actually get deleted from the save file? Could it be that it requires a repair or starting with load game vs resume game by any chance to have those objects actually being removed instead of just hidden?

To me it made no difference whether I tried to resume or load save game. I also noticed already just after the patch that some objects (i.e. canoe in SUlani) er still moved to the ZoneObjectData like before.

I think the festival items got deleted but some seem to also end up in household inventory.
The smaller items (this issue) are still as buggy as before.- DizzyDee-K28 days agoSeasoned Ace
Looking through my old Saves from July 24 - Every single SM apartment had festival items in the household inventory. If I move a brand new sim into an unoccupied apt they, too, have festival items in the household inventory.
In terms of size - the difference between manually deleting the items I can see from household inventories and using a cheat to clear inventories is noticeable. Not huge in some tests, but noticeable. I haven't done any checking with S4 Studio.
My post un/re install Saves do not have festival items in their inventory. So far as I can tell nothing is being added to the shared space. So far I am not seeing a build up of litter. But... time will tell.
July 24 Save: Unoccupied apartment. New Sim from Gallery.
Current Save: Same apt same Sim fresh from the Gallery
FYI to anyone who uninstalls CL to clean up the festivals and litter. You need to actively play every single Save with CL uninstalled to clear out the gunk.
If you want to preserve relationships but don't care about goals, skills etc, don't move your CL Sims out before uninstalling. Leave them in place and let the game boot them into Household Management.
If you don't care about relationships, but want to preserve goals, skills, etc, copy your Sims to My Library and delete the originals from your game.
If you just move SM Sims to other worlds they will take the festival items with them in their household inventory. You will need to actively play them with CL uninstalled to clear out their inventories.
Uninstalling a pack does not result in items being deleted from lots unless you load those lots into play. This is good: You won't lose CL items from your unplayed lots. And it's bad: Moved, unplayed Sims will still have CL festival items hidden in their household inventories.
